LIVE TRIVIA FAQ
How it works
The goal is to have people in your organization, school, or sports team gather teams of 8. They will be a team together and play trivia together for the evening. Each team competes against each other with around 100 questions of trivia.
The Event
The night is primarily built around the trivia questions. Trivia Riot will provide you with 8-10 engaging and entertaining categories. People will be laughing, singing, and reminiscing as they play trivia. Usually an event lasts between 2.5-3 hours depending on the extras you have.
The Extras
To help raise funds you can add silent auctions, raffles baskets, a 50/50, and lots more. The more items you have that people can bid on the more money in your pocket.
What Will Trivia Riot Provide?
We will cover the categories, the emcee, and any sound or projection needed for the event.
What are we responsible for?
We ask that you provide 2-3 judges. Also, we will create the answer sheets for the tables but we ask that you make the copies since you will know the final numbers of tables attending. You are also responsible for any of the extras like baskets, silent auction items, etc…
Do we need to pick a theme?
You can! We have done decades themes, music themes, movie themes and more. We have found however that a more generic night of trivia connects with a broader range of people. But we are more than happy to work with you on either.
VIRTUAL TRIVIA FAQ
How it works
We use Zoom as a platform to create and engaging and fun experience for groups. Basically everyone is in the main area for the questions. Each team member writes down their answers and then we send everyone to a breakout room with their team members. While in the breakout room the team submits their answers on a google form. They have 6-7 minutes to submit their answers. Once the answers are in we bring everyone back to the main area for the answers.
The Event
We recommend a 2-2.5 hour event which consist of about six rounds, depending on how many extra activities you have. We usually open the Zoom about 30 minutes ahead of time so teams can log on and engage with their team in their breakout room.
The Extras
To help raise funds you can add silent auctions, raffles baskets, a 50/50, and lots more. The more items you have that people can bid on the more money in your pocket. It is a little tricky to do that virtually, but totally doable. We have done some creative things with live auctions, heads or tails, and last bid auctions. We will gladly work with you to figure out what is best for your group.

We will cover the categories, the emcee, the zoom (up to 50 breakout rooms), the grading and consulting along the way.
